Big Guy and I are curious about the world and learning new things. The garden has become a renewed passion, so we have been checking out shows to get ideas for our Carondelet Garden.
We are obsessed with Beechgrove which has inspired our choice of flowers and vegetables for our little southside bungalow in 2022. The best suggestion we followed has been the addition of the sugar snow peas. They not only flower but have produced so quickly we are looking at sharing but also blanching and freezing them for later use. This was a winner idea and so welcome to the Carondelet Kitchen. I noticed my recent edition of Southern Living magazine has suggestions for using this vegetable, so I suspect I will be trying out new recipes in the coming weeks!
