Tavern on Main

Big Guy and I have been exploring not only great places in Saint Louis, but we have crossed the Mighty Mississippi to see what is happening in Illinois. I had family that lived in Belleville, so we decided to visit downtown to see how it has changed over the years.

As we drove down the street, we noticed @tavernonmain618. We had to stop and check it out since we have been following each other on IG. We instantly loved the vibe of the place, and it was busy which certainly tells you we were about to have a fantastic experience.

The service and food were outstanding so you could tell this place was running like a top! The best part was I remembered the building from a previous visit under different ownership, so I not only got to remember that great experience, but I was gratified to see this special place continue being a hot spot in Belleville!
