Thanks Chick-Fil-A!

Before lockdown, we were faithfully watching our Billiken men and women’s basketball teams heating up the court at Chaifetz Arena.  As part of their promotions, the fans would get free chicken sandwiches from Chick-Fil-A if the Billikens would hit ten free throws.  It was impressive that we were getting a lot of free sandwiches but after a while I could not eat another one.

Inspiration struck one night when Big Guy suggested we take the chicken filets and cover them with cheese and marinara sauce.  Yahtzee, we had a fantastic meal of chicken parmesan.  The best part is someone at Chick-Fil-A must have sensed this idea as well since we started to notice signage advertising chicken parmesan kits.  There we go being a trend setter and didn’t even know it!
