Big Guy and I splurged on a lovely filet mignon and decided to finally make the butternut squash recipe recommended to us by @MaureenMurphy571. She said it the recipe was easy, and I can confirm it took minutes to put together.
I started by lining my pan with foil while the Big Guy cut the squash in half. After deseeding it, I covered the two halves in butter and brown sugar. I covered the squash with foil and poked holes to allow the steam to release during cooking. After about an hour, we were ready for a delicious side dish with our steak. What a great recipe! Thanks for sharing with us in the Carondelet Kitchen!
