I feel like I live at the grocery store. During COVID, I tried to buy a month’s worth of groceries so I could limit my exposure to others at the store. I found the whole exercise exhausting and sad.
Now that we are hopefully on the other side of COVID, Big Guy and I are back to going to the store more often and only buying the items we need for our immediate recipes. I find I spend less money and I do not waste food. We recently popped in for a few items and the store was decked out for the holidays. I was delighted to see the Walker shortbread even though it was their festive holiday box. As the weather gets colder, Big Guy and I love a cup of tea in the afternoon so I am looking forward to tea and the buttery sensation of dunking my biscuit in my cup with no care that Santa will be smiling at me!
